In my twenties, I put some words to music in an effort to pray. Music continues to be a way the divine breaks through to me, and a way I am able to express what is in my heart. Composing melodies and songs has become for me a spiritual practice. Some of my songs are posted for you.
Prayer is when you talk to God. Meditation is when you’re listening. Playing the piano allows you to do both at the same time.
